Several M1 and M2 internships are available in an ANR-funded project:
WHEN? Investigating the representation of temporal predictions and their functional consequences for audition
The project tackles how temporal predictions are formed from temporal statistics in the sensory environment using computational modeling (Bayesian observer models), how temporal predictions benefit auditory processing (psychophysical approach), and the neural dynamics that implement timing for audition (E/MEG).
The individual project will be defined based on the student's interest and prior knowledge, and the temporal constraints, and will take place at Neurospin in the Cognition & Brain Dynamics Team.
